Safe Sitter Babysitters Training:

Safe Sitter prepares students grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching siblings, or babysitting. Students learn safety, child care skills, diapering, behavior management, online and personal safety. First aid and rescue skills including injury management, choking rescue, infant/child CPR. Activities, role playing and hands on activities with manikins create a fun learning environment while practicing skills. Course content follows guidelines of American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association. *Participants will NOT become certified in CPR with this course.*

Youth participating will receive a Safe Sitter manual and will build a take home first aid kid.

Students will need to bring a lunch with them for during the class. 

Course will take place at Anoka City Hall, 2015 1st Ave, Anoka, MN 55303. Youth will need to bring a lunch with them for during the class. 

Course Fee: $55.00

Classes are limited to a certain number of participants. Please register early. If a wait list is created, there is potential to open more spots, or another class near the date.

Gruesome Twosome Pickleball Tournament & Boo's and Bags Tournament

What:  Rated Pickleball tournament
                 Pools as follows:
                Bean Bag Tournament
When: Saturday, October 2, 2021 (start time TBD)
Where: George Enloe Park & Sunny Acres Park Cost:
Pickleball: $40/team
Bags: $30/team

Medals will be awarded for 1,2,3 in all Pickleball Brackets, and for best costume. Bags prizes will be determined based on registration.
