Budget billing is offered to customers of Anoka Municipal Utility (AMU) who qualify with:
Usage history of 12 months
Good payment history (no more than 1 late payment in last 12 months)
A current account (no past due balance)
Average Billing Calculation
The average billing is calculated by totaling the prior 12 months utility bill history then dividing that figure into equal payments. Your budget figure is reviewed and adjusted every 4 months. There is no "catch-up," the balance is rolled into your new budget amount as it’s revised.
