The Lower Rum River Watershed Management Organization (LRRWMO) is the joint powers organization including the cities of Anoka, Andover, and Ramsey.
Mission
To provide for conservation of water and natural resources; alleviation of flood damage through proper design and maintenance of storm sewer and drainage systems; and protection and management of creeks, lakes, water courses for recreational and public use. Resources of particular importance to the LRRWMO include the Rum River, Trott Brook, and numerous water courses that drain to the Rum River, Round and Sunfish Lakes, Lake Itasca and numerous wetlands.
